Sound Water Stewards trains volunteers to work in Island County for a healthy and sustainable Puget Sound. Their focus on education, community outreach, stewardship, and citizen science.

Calyx School in South Whidbey State Park offers year-round programs that provide nature and arts based learning for ages 5-11.Students gain a deep nature connection and environmental stewardship while developing traditional academic skills.

Hillcrest Elementary Students have adopted Joseph Whidbey State Park through an "Adopt-A- Park" program. Thanks to all the students for helping the park!
WIBC organizes rides for road bikers and mountain bikers. The
Club hosts social rides for beginners, training rides for experienced cyclists & events such as Mussels in the Kettles & Cookin in the Kettles. Members care for the Island County trails in the Kettles.
